Mrs. Forbes

Well, they call me “Forbsey”.  This is my 16th year of teaching high school. Yes…I am slowly going insane. But, it’s a good kind of crazy! I love my students, I like my job, and I hate Monday mornings. Once upon a time I used to be a Hollywood big shot. I developed television shows for CBS Entertainment. I have two cute kids a super cute dog and hairy but cute husband…that’s my life.

Harmony Anderson

Hi! I’m Harmony Anderson. This is my first and last year in VTV. If it were up to me, I would stay longer, but I’m a senior. I am a Virgo which automatically qualifies me to be a successful filmmaker of the future. I plan on attending CSUF for two years for theater, film and business. Then I plan on transferring to UCLA to complete my film major. I love the VTV family and I feel like the class is preparing me for my future.

Macky Brazina

My love for film began in 2007, at the SCV film camp. It was like love at first render… bundumbun. There is nothing in the world I enjoy more than sitting and editing. Seeing my work come to life is the most rewarding feeling. I hope to carry on my passion for film into a career, in editing and directing. I am currently working to graduate my junior year, and go straight to a four year. Double majoring in film and theater. I am the current title holder of “Queen of Improv” and won the “Drama award” in 2008, “Best movie quote identifier,” pottery juggler, “People analyzer,” and best butler to Mr. Rylie Reese.

Spencer Byam Taylor

Hi, I’m Spencer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an interest in film and film production. I love everything about it, the initial story boarding, the filming itself, the editing that follows, the final presentation – everything. I hope to pursue a career where I can be able to do what I love every day. I enjoy being on VTV because it lets me work with people who have similar interests as I do as well as lets me work with the equipment that I’ll be working with the rest of my life. As far as college goes, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get me where I want to be.

Jordyn Byers

Oh Hullo! I’m Jordyn. I don’t know why I’m in video actually… Ha totally kidding! I do it because I love it! I am an aspiring entertainment reporter and love making videos for fun! Doy! Uhh ya… I love everyone in here especially Forbes! Hehe :) BYE!

Maribel Castillo

Hey I’m Maribel and this is my 2nd semester of VTV! I’ve been doing video for 4 years; I think its da bomb! I love video because I want to work in the industry. My goal is to be an anchor for ABC 7. My college plans are to go to UC Berkley or UCLA! I’ve received 1st place is commercial in 8th grade during STN. Last year at STN, me and my partner Austin Gould won honorable mention on our video. VTV Rocks!

Kessley Chan

Meow, I’m Kessley chan. This is my first year in VTV and I think it’s the bee’s knees. VTV brings out my artsy side. Everything about it makes me smile: the excessive amount of macs, the sassy people, and of course the video aspect itself. Hosting would have to be my favorite thing because I’m a bit of a narcissist. When I’m older, I’d like to have a career in film, preferably as a director.

Lauren Clark

This is my first year in VTV. It was a little bit stressful at first but once I got the hang of it, it was fun. The people in my class are filled with so much joy and I have found a special place in my heart for all of them. I am in video because I just love the behind the scenes action and making a video come to life. My goal for this class is to become a better editor, but I would just see this as something I like to do for fun, but I do not necessarily want to pursue it as a career. I do want to attend an art school so I might think about minoring in film.

Karina Garrett

Hello hello! I’m Karina Garrett, and I’m a senior! This is my 2nd and half year in VTV. So far, my most epic win in VTV was winning 3rd place in a national competition. My most epic fail is Eugene. In my crystal ball I see myself as a hot-shot director or possibly an agent. Either way, I know my future awaits in the film industry, and VTV helps me prepare for that. Plus, VTV is my 2nd family. I love them like a fat kid loves cake.

Aralie Hoskins

Hi I’m Aralie, this is my first year in VTV. I'm the Obama of VTV. I first became interested in video when my brother made West Ranch TV (eww). One of my goals in life is to make my own cartoon! I love Phineas and Ferb! I have gotten many awards in life but, my favorites are for piano. I am planning on going to BYU – Idaho.

Marcus Larrazabal Vincente

Hi my name's Marcus. I am a junior at VHS and this is my first year in VTV. I have been involved in Video Production since my freshman year in 1A and last year I was on the Video Yearbook Team which was also produced by Mrs. Forbes. Video Yearbook was tons of fun, but VTV is even better. We are more like a giant family than anything. We still fight and argue, but we're all straightened out by Forbes, our second mother basically. So thats the kind of closeness we have in VTV and i'm glad to be in it.

Eugene Luzong

Hey I’m Eugene Luzong and I’m the technical producer of VTV. This is my second semester here, so I’m still considered a “noob.” :( Someday I want to be a successful film or TV producer for Universal Studios or Comedy Central. Goals? To take control of all of VTV! >:) Fails? Hmm.. Failed to pack a battery for STN last year. My college plans are to go to USC and major in film and TV.

Mandee

Mc Ferren

I’m Mandee and this is my first semester of VTV :) I never knew that when I joined video production that it would talk me this far. Besides VTV, I’m also a competitive figure skater. I want to go to school on the east coast and either major in broadcast journalism or business. I can’t wait to continue with VTV, and hopefully it will take me far. I love VTV!

Jennifer Norihiro

Live in 3,2,1… Video production has been increasingly important in my life. It all started four years ago with a quick tempered teacher who stated a program from nothing. Every since, video has been opening my eyes to many new experiences that I could have never imagined. I originally joined video in middle school to build my confidence, but instead lead to a career opportunity and friendships. Video is one of the few classes that I have had that people connect and create a family. VTV Rocks!

Destiny Pineda

Vassup?! I'm Destiny Pineda! I am a junior, as well as the artistic producer of VTV. I absolutely love VTV and all the things I've learned in it. I dig graphics and all aspects of them. My most epic fail was probably when I first hosted--horrible... After next year I'm probably going to a UC school (Sacramento or Santa Barbara, preferably) to major in graphic design and minor in animation and photography. =D As for awards, I was the main cinematographer for our short film that took first place: comedy, "Hugh Takes A Chance." (12 hrs!? Yeah we did it.) All in all, I am a video geek and I am PROUD OF IT!

Riley

Reiss

Hi, my name is Riley Reiss and I’m 17 years old and I am the Student Producer of Valencia Television. I have been in VTV since my sophomore year and I hope to one day be in the film production industry. I love being in VTV because it's like a second family, everyone gets along great. Forbes is one of the best teachers I've ever had and she is a really awesome person. Well yeah. If you don't know me come say hi. Alright... Bye.

Johnathan Rugg

Hola! I do video production because I am able to express my creative and artsy side. Also, I enjoy knowing that a video I make can either send chills down someone's spine or bring joy to their day. Now in video everyone's goal is to become the greatest. lol. My biggest goal would be just to be successful in doing what I love to do in the movie industry. A few awards I am proud of is I won first place in a commercial competition and in middle school won technical director award for the year. Everyone makes mistakes right?! I would say my biggest screw up is when I decide to work with my friend on a project or wait till the last minute. My college plan would be receiving experience in the field before college, and one that I would look at is one that has a good film program. My biggest goal in video is to get the perfect shots that ties everything together!!

Johnathon Savant

Whats up!? This is John, and I'm in video because it's the best class on campus. Every day is fun and awesome because of VTV and the people in it. I want to stay in VTV from now until Forbes kicks me out.. Summary: VTV = Epic win! Bye!!

Melynda Wright

Hey! I'm Melynda, AKA meli-mel, AKA "The Quiet One." This is my second year in VTV. I'm in video because I really enjoy editing and filming! After college, I aim to sell popcorn at Edwards in Valencia. Though I might enter the film industry as an editor or cinematographer. I've just got one more thing to stay... I love my VTV family!
